-have a working amahi installation
<b>NOTE:</b> -Step 1 Install amahi-netboot {{Code| yum install amahi-netboot}}This is for Fedora 14 ONLY and needs updated to reflect Amahi 7 specifics.
Step 2 Setup <ins>What is Netboot?</ins>__NOTOC__Amahi-netboot is the package that allows you to use your "test amahi machine"as a PXE/Network Boot/tftp server with minimal configuration.
In order to test various configurations <ins>What can itdo?</ins>#Boot live cds#Install just about any OS(Linux, BSD, even Win XP/Vista/7)#Run Utility programs and CDs (Hiren's a good idea to use Virtualbox on a "test" computer. I use my windows laptop connected by ethernet to home network. , Ultimate Boot CD)
On the "test machine"
Install latest Virtualbox & extensionpack, notepad++, and 7zip
Step 3 Create a a new VirtualmachineAll without burning CDs/DVDs or using USB flash drives!
Click New Button-Next-<ins>Name=test->OS=Linux->Version=Other Linux-Assumptions:</ins>Base memory size=depends on your #Working Amahi HDA#"test" system default=256 change to 512Create new disk= default 8Gb is fine->Nextrunning windows or another desktop OS.VDI checked = default is fine ->NextDynamically allocated=default is fine->NextVirtual Disk file location and size = default->NextCreateSummary->Create#Both are networked using wired ethernet cables, at least while network booting.
Step 4 Change Settings for your new "test" virutal machine
