The Amahi project is about making home networking simple.

The term "home networking" is defined very broadly. The Amahi server is meant to be installed by you, the technical users, otherwise commonly known as the "designated IT guys for the home." :-)

Ultimately, though, the goal is to benefit regular users in the home. Every tech user has others who need their help in running their "digital lives," like spouses, kids, neighbors, cousins, elder relatives, etc. Amahi is about making your life easier while helping them much better.

See the features the Amahi HDA has for you. Consider installing one with the old PC in the garage.
