noVNC is an HTML5 client to connect to a VNC server. This version provides also the server side proxy that grant a crypted connection between your browser and a server. You can use the client installed on the amahi to connect to any other server with the noVNC proxy installed.
About noVNC in Amahi
- Currently BETA in Amahi.
- The application allow you to connect to the main user VNC session (the real user desktop) within your browser. Knowing that content is provided in HTML5 you need to use a recent version of your browser (tested with Safari Mac/iPhone/iPad, Chrome, Firefox)
- Once the application is installed, you can point your browser to http://novnc, provides your server data and start the VNC session.
The default server data are: Server: hda Port: 6080 Password: (empty or your password if you change the standard amahi settings)
