- Idea for the topic of the screencast
- Title
- Small description (1-2 Paragraphs)
- Knowledge about how to preform the task for the screencast
- Video capture of the task
- Small intro video (~6 seconds)
- Small ending video (~4 seconds)
Steps
- Create a rough script
- Record a rough screen capture
- Record a voice over using rough script
- Watch the rough screen capture with the voice over
- Edit script
- Create a new (near-final) voice over
- Record a new (near-file) screen capture while listening to voice over
- Import the latest screen capture and voice over to a video editing program
- Add a small intro video, with a title
- Play the screen capture and the voice over at the same time
- Edit video and audio to be synchronized
- Add a small ending video (optional)
- Export the entire screencast
