To change the way Fedora behaves when closing the lid on laptop, perform the following steps as root user:
- Edit /etc/systemd/logind.conf
- Find test #HandleLidSwitch=suspend
- Change suspend to ignore and remove the #
- Save file with changes
- Restart the login service:
systemctl restart systemd-logind.service
