This page is about the ALPHA release of Amahi 8 (Fedora 21).

Install Amahi 8

Refer to Amahi 8 Installation for new installs.

Workstation Live DVD Desktop (1.5GB)
- Not configurable for minimal install
- Install and start OpenSSH server
  - yum -y install openssh-server
  - systemctl enable sshd.service
  - systemctl start sshd.service
- SSH into OS to complete install steps
- Installed Amahi 8 without issues
Server Netinstall CD Headless (440MB)
- Select Minimal Install
- May take longer to install depending on internet connection speed as packages are downloaded from Fedora repositories
- Installed Amahi 8 without issues

NOTE: USB install using the above methods has not been tested.
