→Install without Logical Volume Management (LVM)
OK now here is the easy/hard part. I recommend you set up disk partitions without using the default lvm setup. At the partitioning point of the Fedora 14 installer:
* Select '''Create Custom Layout''' and click '''Next'''.
* Next delete ''lv-root'' and , ''lv-swap'' by selecting one at a time , and clicking '''delete'''.* Also delete '''vg_xxxxxxx''' the same way by selecting one at a time and clicking on it and hitting '''delete''' (Note note xxxxxx is different on every machine).
* Now delete '''ALL''' partitions under hard drives. Now you will see free space the size of the drive.
* Click on the free space and click '''Create'''.
