This setting is used to display more advanced settings (ONLY intended for experienced users/developers):

  • Servers control panel feature, under Setup -> Applications -> Servers
  • Global settings for shares, under Shares -> Settings


To enable Advanced Settings:

  • Log into your http://hda
  • Select Setup link at the top of the dashboard
  • Choose the Settings tab
  • Check the box labeled Advanced Settings


Amahi 7 Advanced Functionality

The following will appear in Dashboard tabs when 'Advanced Settings is enabled:

  • Shares
    • Settings
      • Change Work group name
  • Network
    • DNS Aliases
      • Add/remove aliases for network IP addresses
    • Settings
      • Enable/Disable DHCP server
      • Enable/Disable DNS server
      • Adjust DHCP Lease Time
      • Change DNS Provider
      • Change Gateway
  • Settings
    • Servers
      • Control stop, start, and restart of various services and enable/disable start on boot and watchdog
  • Drive Pooling (ONLY if Greyhole UI application is installed):
    • Shares
      • Control what shares use Greyhole and number of file copies.
    • Status
      • Displays Greyhole status and provides method to run FSCK.
