Troubleshooting

Here is the information we need for proper troubleshooting:

• What is the version of the app? Go to settings (right pane on iPad, browse to a share area in iPhone/iPod).
• If it's a video player issue, what player does the issue happen with?
  • It's the embedded VLC player if it has a globe icon on the left above the volume
  • Otherwise, it will be the built-in media player
• What type of content is it?
  • We'd like to know the extension at a minimum (mp4, avi, mkv, etc.)
  • If you can ssh to your HDA, a simple program to see the file contents is called "file". Example: file foo.mp4 will tell you details that you need to share
