Our goal is to try and get to the root cause of the issue as quickly as possible. It's important that you do not change the state of your HDA while we are diagnosing the issue. Basically, don't do anything unless instructed to do so.

  1. Describe the issue as clear and concise as possible
    • Is this is associated with web browser access:
      • What is the name and version (i.e. IE 11)
      • Have you tried any other web browsers
    • Is this app related
      • What is the app
      • Have you checked /var/log/amahi-app-installer.log for errors
    • What version of Amahi:
      • Platform (located in Settings tab)
      • OS (i.e. Fedora 19, Fedora 21)
      • Architecture (32- or 64-bit)
    • Have OS updates been applied
    • Do you have command line access
    • Have you tried the troubleshooting guidance in the wiki
  2. We ask that you follow our direction exactly and do not deviate
  3. Provide results of commands via
    • IRC chat window (few lines)
    • http://www.fpaste.org or http://www.pastebin.org (for several lines)
  4. Be patient as there may be a delay in replies
  5. Be receptive to our recommendation.

We will provide the best solution to bring stability back to your HDA.
