We were able == How to develop this integration of what used to be PXEKnife, but it's better named as Amahi Run Netboot, to provide the feature of booting multiple CD/DVD images over the network.==
Please take it for a spinAfter installing the app, edit to add boot entries:
vi /var/lib/tftpboot/pxelinux.cfg/default Making bootable images of various OSs is not trivial. It should not break involves precise setup of files in a web server or NFS share or other way to serve files in your HDA and as a little example of what this can donetwork (or in some cases, we included off the famous memtest86+ memory testinternet). See if you can run it by booting off the network after you install the package: == Example Configuration ==
yum -y install amahi-netbootSuppose that you want to boot a Linux OS over the network, say Fedora 22.
If this works well, we will be able to package other things as apps that are net-bootable!This is the configuration you need in /var/lib/tftpboot/pxelinux.cfg/default
Edit to add boot entries label linux menu label Install or upgrade Fedora 22 menu default kernel fedora22/vmlinuz append initrd=fedora22/initrd.img repo=<nowiki>http://dl.fedoraproject.org/pub/fedora/linux/releases/22/Workstation/x86_64/os</nowiki> Then you need two files (vmlinuz and initrd.img) inside a directory called fedora22: vi cd /var/lib/tftpboot/pxelinux.cfg/default mkdir fedora22 cd fedora22 wget <nowiki>http://dl.fedoraproject.org/pub/fedora/linux/releases/22/Workstation/x86_64/os/isolinux/vmlinuz</nowiki> wget <nowiki>http://dl.fedoraproject.org/pub/fedora/linux/releases/22/Workstation/x86_64/os/isolinux/initrd.img</nowiki> With that configuration, you should be able to boot Fedora 22 off your network and install from it!
If course, rather then the repo being remote, you can also install from a local repo. For example, if you can make the one form the CD/DVD available in the file system, or via a local web server (This needs e.g. a simple web app pointing to the repo). The configuration will need to change accordingly.
