Rule #0: do not turn off DHCP in your router until your HDA has full network connectivity - your HDA should be acapable of browsing all the major sites and http://www.amahi.org

Steps in network troubleshooting:

From your hda itself (via ssh or at the desktop in a terminal), can you:

  1. ping hda
  2. ping router
  3. ping 68.180.206.184
  4. ping yahoo.com

If the above does not work, try and fix it with double checking the settings.

If the above works, then move to one or more the clients:

  1. ping hda
  2. ping router
  3. ping yahoo.com

then report where you are in that list.
