Backups on Apple Mac computers.
This does not currently work, it saves the info, but the save never ends itself, does not show in the Backup Manager space of the dashboard nor does it allow you to choose from the backup when using restore.
Backups on Hackintosh (PC's running OS X)
This has been reported it works, but have not tried.
