The Family Address Book (TFAB) is a web-based shared address book. Integrated with your default email client, sending emails from TFAB is a snap.

MS Outlook Integration:

Displaying TFAB Contacts in Outlook

  • Make sure the Folder List is displayed. From the menu on the top choose View > Folder List
  • Then choose File > New > Folder... The "Create New Folder" dialog box opens.
    • In the [Name] field enter TFAB.
    • In the [Folder contains] drop-down list select Contact Items.
    • Select where to create the new TFAB folder. Clicking "Personal Folders" at the top is a good place.
  • Click [Ok]
  • In the Folder List you should now see a new contacts folder named TFAB.
  • Right-click the TFAB folder and choose Properties.
  • Click the "Home Page" tab.
  • Make sure the checkbox "Show home page by default for this folder" is selected.
  • In the [Address] field enter the URL of TFAB. Example: http://tfab/
  • Click [Ok].
  • By clicking the TFAB folder in Outlook's folder list TFAB should display. You're ready to go!
