Here is how to test the little search engine inside Amahi:

  • Go to a shared folder and put this file with all empty extensions files
     cd /var/hda/files/doc
     wget http://dl.getdropbox.com/u/364883/Amahi/extension-test.tar.bz2
     tar -xjvf extension-test.tar.bz2
     sudo updatedb
  • Then search for this term: extension-test
  • Then see how many results
  • Then try audio
  • Then try video
  • Then try images
