Here's a fix that worked for me (For Windows Vista specific) In # From the menu, select ''Control Panel/network connections'' then ''Network Connections''1. # Right click your ethernet card (or similar) and select properties1. # Select ''Internet Protocol vrs4 Version 4'' and press the properties button1. # Click the "Advanced" button1. # Select the DNS tab1. press # Press the "Append these DNS suffixes (in order)" button1. add # Add your home server's domain name (eg. home.com)1. press # Press the required OKs, apply, close ...

All should work correctly now For Windows 7# In Control Panel select ''Network And Sharing Center''# In the left margin, select 'Change adapter settings''# Right click your ethernet card (or similar) and select ''properties''# Select ''Internet Protocol Version 4'' and press the properties button# Click the ''Advanced'' button# Select the ''DNS'' tab# Press the ''Append these DNS suffixes (in order)'' button# Add your home server's domain name (eg. home.com)# Press the required OKs, apply, close ...
