Joomla is Amahi app currently in BETA. It's an award-winning content management system (CMS), which enables you to build Web sites and powerful online applications. Many aspects, including its ease-of-use and extensibility, have made Joomla the most popular Web site software available. Best of all, Joomla is an open source solution that is freely available to everyone.

Access Joomla over HTTPS

You can access Joomla from anywhere with https: (this is for outside, so be warned it does allow access to part of your server from the outside world). Tutorial Here

Upgrade your Joomla version

Upgrade from 1.7 to 2.5

It's now easy to update your installation of Joomla from within the Administration Panel. You may wish to back up your files and put your site into offline mode before updating.

1. Log into Administration usually: http://joomla/administrator/index.php

2. Go to the Extensions menu and choose Extension Manager

3. Choose the Update menu option

4. Click on the Find Updates icon in the upper right.

5. Tick the check box next to the update and click the orange Update icon in the upper right.

6. You should now be on the latest version.
