It Your new drive can be configured to mount permanently using the [http://wiki.amahi.org/images/c/c6/Diskmounter.sh diskmounter] script (thanks to Dennis Kaarsemaker and Luigi Capriotti). You can use this for adding a new fixed (internal) disk or an external USB/FireWire disk.
* Execute the script as ''root'' and answer YES to the prompt to make the drive writable to all users.
