We have tested with a fair bit of success upgrading Amahi 7 to Amahi 8. We have tested with clean versions and fully-updated versions of Amahi 7. If your system is heavily modified, it may not upgrade as well. See [[Amahi_8_Upgrade|Amahi 8 Upgrade]] guidance. While this has been tested, no guarantee it will work or not cause issues with your current HDA.
