→Transitioning to using your Amahi server
* You can verify if the dashboard is available by accessing from any client using the IP address of your server '''<nowiki>http://IPADDRESS/</nowiki>''' or '''<nowiki>http://hda/</nowiki>''' (in most Windows clients this works even without DNS from your HDA)
* For best results, it's recommended that you [[Turning_off_DHCP_in_your_router|turn off the previous DHCP server]] and let Amahi handle DHCP so that DNS falls into place automatically. If not, then you must [[Turning_off_DHCP|turn off the HDA DHCP server]].
* [[RenewIP|Reboot all the clients]] (or turn off network and turn back on) to get them to use DHCP leases from your Amahi server
* The first time it will initialize, ask you to login, and enter a dashboard password for the admin user created earlier
* Once you reach your [[Setup|dashboard]], you should [[Storage_and_file_sharing|create shares]] as needed, [[Adding_a_second_hard_drive_to_your_HDA|add more drives]], install apps, etc., etc.
* Optionally refer to [[Greyhole#Amahi_7.2F8|Greyhole]] to install/configure storage pooling.
