View source for Running the Amahi UI standalone

The Amahi UI can be run standalone for development.

* mysqladmin create demo_development
* create a user/password for this DB 
* git clone the repo
* cd amahi/platform/platform/html
* edit config/database.yml and change the user/password for the development database as you created above
* rake db:migrate
* ./script/server

then access things in http://localhost:3000

== Things that work ==

* dashboard
* setup (except things don't take effect) - skip the piecharts page!

== Things that do not work ==
* updating system settings, like dhcp, dns, networks, aliases, samba configuration, etc.
* piecharts with disk usage hang the RoR server (!!)
* theme changing
* debug
