Amahi 7 (Express-Disc)

The express-disc installation method is the primary installation method for Amahi 7 with Fedora 19 and as such, upgrades from prior versions of Fedora are not advised, since very much has changed since older versions of Fedora.

  • Works with both physical and virtual machine systems.
  • Wiki articles being developed for transitioning storage/ shares to Amahi 7.
  • Supports x64 (64-bit) systems ONLY (for 32-bit, see x86 (32-bit) Installations).

x86 (32-bit) installations

NOTE: The Express disc is a x64 (64-bit) installation only.

For x86 (32-bit) installation intructions, see the Amahi 7 full DVD page.

This install method may benefit those experiencing issues with the Express disc install.

GUI Installation

As a desktop environment is not installed. Please take a look at our GUI install wiki page for this.

Web App Feature Work Around

There is no option for Adding a web app manually like in Amahi 6. Until the feature is available, those who need the feature can refer to Amahi 7 Manual Web App guidance.

Manual Greyhole Setup

Currently there is no Dashboard add-on to setup and configure Greyhole for Amahi 7. This must be done manually using the Manual Greyhole Setup wiki page.
