For example, the correct permissions are:
drwxr-xr-x. 10 root root 4096 Jul 29 17:02 . drwxr-xr-x. 13 root root 4096 Dec 5 2013 .. drwxrwxr-x 3 1stadminuser 2 1stadmin users 4096 Dec 4096 Aug 5 9 18:55 music2013 books
If this is not correct, you will need to change them:
chmod -R 775 /var/hda/files/sharename
