* Navigate to Settings => Apps. go to apps and check current apps * Compare the list to see if all apps of third party that were used in prior the previous ownCloud instance are with the third party applications available of in the new newly installed release. if apps are available * If all the third party applications match then restore apps the applications from backupbackups. else * If there is no match for the third party applications; activate the "core" applications install needed, enable the third party applications end ifneeded. Please remember applications not available in the new release will take time for the third party authors to update for the new release version.
* Login to a normal user ID and test ownCloud functionality (i.e. sharing) and applications.
* If the prior testing was successful have other users test their ownCloud IDs.
