To publish or subscribe to a calendar in this server, you need three things:
#. A client calendar program (see below),#. The publishing location or URL, which is: <code><nowiki>http://calendar/</nowiki></code>, and#. The calendar name of your choice, typically Home, John, etc.
Note: some clients may require that the name have the ical extension, e.g. Home.ics; you may need to experiment.
