Common (ALL)

• Renew Client IP Address: Applies to Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux.

• Enable Advanced Settings: Unhides advanced areas in Network and Setup tabs.

• Open terminal as root user: Command line access as root user.

• Greyhole
  • Change Landing Zone: Move default landing zone to another drive.
  • Mount Shares Locally Service: Required to modify/write files locally on HDA without using Samba Client.
• Adding hard drives: Add additional hard drives.

• Static IP Addresses: Configure static IP address for client devices.

• Network Printer: Add networked printer.

Amahi 7 (Fedora 19)

• Disable DHCP Server: Verify Advanced Settings is enabled. Select Network tab, then Settings. Uncheck DHCP Server check box.

• Change DNS Provider: Verify Advanced Settings is enabled. Select Network tab, then Settings. Choose desired preconfigured DNS provider or Custom.

• Change Gateway IP Address: Verify Advanced Settings is enabled. Select Network tab, then Settings. Click on Gateway and change to desired IP address. Finally select Change.

Amahi 7 (Ubuntu 12.04.x)

• Change Gateway IP Address: Change the 3rd octet of the router/client IP addresses.

• Change DNS Provider: Change DNS from OpenDNS to provider provider.

• Disable DHCP Server: Disable DHCP server on HDA.
