The purpose of this page is to capture various issues and solutions for common or not so common problems that users may encounter.

It also provides links to perform various HDA Admin tasks with and without the HDA Dashboard.

Amahi Common

  • Virtual Private Network (VPN): Not included in Amahi 6 or 7, but is required for secure connection between your client and HDA. Amahi application VPN provides the capability.

Amahi 7 (Fedora 19)

net-tools/bind-utils: Not installed in Amahi 7, but required to use ifconfig, netstat, route, nslookup, and some other network commands. Amahi application HDA Troubleshooting Tools provides the capability.

Amahi 7 (Ubuntu 12.04.x)

Secure Shell (SSH): Not included in Amahi 6, but is required to remotely access your HDA, inside or outside your network. Amahi applications OpenSSH and Dropbear provides the capability.
