Welcome to the Amahi Wiki!
The Amahi home server is a server operating system for home and home office environments.
Our focus is to build a home and personal server with usability, cross-platform standards compliance.
It provides all the things you would want in a home server:
- Calendaring, Wiki
- Shared network storage, Network Backups
- Printer server, Remote access
- ... (see below)
It is Linux-based and of the main areas of focus is to make it 100% compatible with PCs and Macs.
Install Options
We're looking for new alpha users! We will give you an HDA preconfigured just for you. Do not hesitate to contact us!
- Self Install/Do It Yourself: install on your own hardware configuration
- Power users: we send you a preinstalled, very powerful HDA box (dual Opteron, 2GB RAM) for a very low cost
- Enthusiasts: we send you preinstalled HDA hardware (for free - well, the cost of shipping)
