The purpose of this page is to capture various issues and solutions for common or not so common problems that users may encounter.

It also provides links to perform various HDA Admin tasks with and without the HDA Dashboard.

HDA Admin How To

Amahi Common

  • Virtual Private Network (VPN): Not included in Amahi 6 or 7, but is required for secure connection between your client and HDA. Amahi application VPN provides the capability.
  • Hardware Changes: Steps for hardware changes on HDA (i.e. mother board, network card, etc).

Amahi 7 (Fedora 19)

  • Greyhole: Not installed in Amahi 7, but guidance is provided for manual install and configuration. There's no Amahi dashboard user interface, but it's under development (Amahi bug 1081).

Amahi 6 (Ubuntu 12.04.x)

Secure Shell (SSH): Not installed in Amahi 6, but is required to remotely access your HDA, inside or outside your network. Amahi applications OpenSSH and Dropbear provides the capability.
