- Capture various issues and solutions for common or uncommon problems users may encounter.
- Provide quick access to various HDA Admin tasks using command line or HDA Dashboard.

HDA Admin How To
- Disable Router DHCP Server: Generic guidance for disabling DHCP server on some routers.
- Change DNS Provider: Change DNS from OpenDNS to different provider.
- Disable DHCP Server: Disable DHCP server on HDA.
- Change Gateway IP Address: Change the 3rd octet of the router/client IP addresses.
- Renew Client IP Address: Applies to Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux.
- Enable Advanced Settings: Unhides advanced areas in Network and Setup tabs.
- Open terminal as root user: Command line access as root user.
- Reset User Password: Use to reset a user's forgotten password.
- Adding hard drives: Command line guidance for adding hard drives to your HDA.
- Greyhole: Setup/configure Greyhole Storage Pooling.
- Mount Shares Locally: Safely manage Greyhole enabled share files locally on the HDA.
- Manage Shares: Create, edit, delete, and manage file shares configuration.
- Shares Extra Parameters: Manage extra options per file share, such as a recycle bin or quota.
- Configure Static IP Address: Create static IP address for client devices.
- Secure Shell (SSH): Key-based SSH terminal access to your HDA.
- Virtual Private Network (VPN): Required for secure connection between a client and HDA outside your network. Amahi application VPN provides the capability.
- Hardware Changes: Steps for hardware changes on HDA (i.e. mother board, network card, etc).
- Customize IPsec VPN: How to change the secret and/or group name as well as procedure for routing all traffic through Amahi IPsec VPN application.
- Virtual Network Computing (VNC): Access your HDA desktop remotely from inside your network.
- Hosting a web site: How to make the Amahi web server visible outside the local network.
- net-tools/bind-utils (includes commands ifconfig, nslookup, netstat, and others): Not installed in Amahi 7. Amahi application HDA Troubleshooting Tools provides the capability.
- Manual Web App Creation: Amahi application Web App provides the capability.
- Calendar Server: This feature is currently broken (Amahi bug 1339), but guidance is provided to correct the issue.
- Express Disc Desktop: HDA is headless, but guidance is provided for installing a GUI desktop. The Amahi application VNC provides the Gnome 3 Desktop and remote capability.
